The Covid State: Dispatch Three from a Changing World
As the subtitle of this piece suggests, this is the third in a series of online editorials responding to the Covid-19 pandemic. The first, ‘The Mask of the Red Death’, was published on 21 March, the second, ‘We Are All Unclean’ on 20 April. Our forthcoming issue, #8: Comrades, this is madness, contains an extended essay that synthesises, updates and extends these three pieces. The series will continue as the crisis does.
